Sneak Peek...

We are currently furnishing a phenomenal home in a mystery location (don't worry WE know where it is!) Here's a sneak peek of the master bedroom draperies...

The curtains are made from a silk wool blend, in a burnished gold colour. These curtains are almost entirely hand made, entirely hand finished and are virtually perfect. They are lined with silk (yes silk) padded with a French Domette curtain padding so soft and so luscious that you would want to wear them! Behind the curtains are two more layers, a London styled shade trimmed in crystal bead trim, in a silk taffetta stripe and a sheer silk embroidered sheer silk shoji screen with a most dainty leaf motif. The home is very traditionally styled with architectural and finishing millwork beyond most grand homes. The curtains and textiles we used follow a traditional design and silhouette but are fabricated using very modern methods and also incorporating a more contemporary lean on styling.
