This picture is a real metaphor for my work life. We work hard every day and we do take the time to smell the roses too. Here the roses consist of A good beer, some amazing bread, two of my favourite types of olives, three different cheeses and time to savour it all.... before I have to go back and get to sewing. I have to tell you there is simply no better place for me to eat my lunch than at the sewing machine which is the heart and soul of my work. Beats the fanciest dining table any day.

Ha, Ravi, that's a metaphor for my work life, too! No matter how hard I'm working, I always take time to eat a proper lunch and have coffee sitting down. Often we'll grab a scrap of fabric from the cut-offs pile to use as a tablecloth on the sewing machine table. And I keep real dishes at the studio to eat from. When work and life are so intertwined, you have to do some things right.
