Wow, Ids West is over! What an awesome experience!
Anna, Stacey and I started planning for our booth 3 months ago. We designed, built and made everything in our booth including the booth! My concept for this booth was to use simple everyday fabrics and make remarkable treatments, showing that creativity is not dead in the world of window coverings. I will post some images on our website soon. Our booth had to be one of the busiest booths at the show, it was always full and people were absolutely delighted by the curtains, the lighting (which we designed), the upholstery and the general zeal expressed by the three of us! We had some help on the Sunday when one of our best friends, Patricia Kramer came in to talk to people about our work. Patricia has been our greatest supporter, our biggest fan and in general is madly in love with us. We love her too! :)
We were ready for the opening night!
Our booth was Awesome! I think it was the nicest one!
We are so lucky to have such handsome friends! |
It was handy having our anti fatigue ottomans for when fatigue set in! |
We weren't the only strange people there.... Christian was showcasing another one of his AMAZING kitchens! IDS WEST was chock full of local artists and artisans, kudos to all people who were showing their wares. |
We even had a Ravi Design Reunion. Tiffany May and Ben Newcombe, who now work together at Lululemon are former employees of Ravi Design. They came by to remind themselves of how lucky they are that they have normal jobs now. :)
And Yes, when it was over it all fit into our little van.... yes that was planned to happen!
This was an incredible amount of work, and incredible amount of energy and was very rewarding in many many ways. I met so many wonderful people, so many creative people and some new friends.
Now I sleep....
Thank you.
