Wow, what a busy year 2012 turned out to be! In fact 2012 turned out to not only be the busiest year on record it was also the most creative and rewarding. We made some of the most remarkable curtains and furnishings for our clients this year. I am so very proud of our achievements this year.
It is a little difficult sometimes to accept that only three people work in our little company, only two of whom actually sew. Considering the scope, range and breadth of our projects it is pretty remarkable to think that between the three of us we build beds, make pillows, upholster sofas, sew bedspreads, design and fabricate some of the most amazing curtains in the world and still have time to install all of it and service our clients. The scope and range of our work is far beyond what a regular upholstery shop, or drapery shop, or furnishings shop can possibly produce. I am not sure why, but it seems really difficult in this day and age to find people who are willing to challenge themselves and elevate their work year after year. For us the money and fame and glory and other resplendent spoils of war are great but really its the trust place upon us by our customers to create beauty for them that really drives us. We get to work on the most amazing fabrics, the most beautiful homes, with some of the most interesting people. How could we ever complain? Thank you. I hope that this holiday season offers you rest and respite, love and warmth and gentle caresses from your loved ones.
