FreeFall

Freefall is an assembly of cloth which serves as a spectacular cascading light filter. Conceived as a screen to block an unsightly view, the sculpture serves a dual purpose of hiding an unwanted exterior element while simultaneously introducing a new more interesting focal point. Constructed from a high tensile synthetic fabric in a bone colour, 62 Individual banners are assembled along 4 individual parallel planes adding not only depth but dimension to the treatment. This is one of my most celebrated pieces of work, and one of my most favorite projects.
