Running Bond in Denim.

a visit to the couture section of our website will make you familiar with the AWESOME Denim Meets A Patchwork Death curtain I designed in March 2008 for a young boy's room, I'll be doing a separate post on that soon. 2009 gets it's own Denim superstar... Bond.... Running Bond Denim that is... A MASSIVE 290 square foot expanse of curtain (yes...  the size of a downtown condominium) patterned after a popular masonry pattern, the running bond style. pieced together from 221 individual pieces of denim, cut apart, sewn together and riveted in place, this curtain runs the entire expanse of a 16 foot wall, functioning as an impressive backdrop to the bed, and coverage over two windows.
I designed this curtain to work as a ripplefold, tucked under a valance to hide all tracking and offer a simple elegance to the room. Far from finished, the room has a multitude of awesome cushions, shades, and two custom L7 chairs... Photos to be added as progress progresses.
