Linen Curtains A la Ripple Fold.....

Ripplefold Curtains are gaining mass popularity. Mostly due to their simple clean lines and modern appeal. In this install we hung Linen, interlined Ripplefold curtains from a channel track. A beautiful and clean system.

There was a corner, what to do? We decided to do something we have never done ever before, miter the rods in the corner instead of using an articulating corner assembly. I don't know why we always try to make things that should be simple more complex... but it's one of the main reasons our installations take hours longer than they should, and also why our clients love us and the main reason why our competition fear us. So anyways, here we mitered the rod, probably the cleanest miter in the history of drapery rod installation. This was tricky because both rods need to be perfectly level and mounted at the exact same height... and by tricky I mean for other less qualified installers... ie every other installer in the known world. For us it was like stealing candy from a baby, which we have also done successfully on many occasions. Looking at this miter would make my mother proud, I will email her a link.

Linen wrinkles. Here Anna is steaming the wrinkles out. She went to school for eight years to learn how to do this properly. In truth it's a six hour course but she took extra time to learn how to do it properly. That's just how she rolls... ALL yes ALL of our linens are sponged. Sponging shrinks the fabric without washing it, makes it less wrinkly and stabilizes it so it won't stretch or shrink up excessively. This ensures the linen will be trouble free for years, maybe decades. Sadly our very dour and fearful competition think sponging is something you do to dirty dishes... which is probably why most of their curtains look like... dishrags!  OOOOH OUCH!!!

Wow, now that is what curtains should look like. You see when you take good cloth, proper linings, smart hardware and a pair of very talented hands... and the desire to create something beautiful... you can't help but have a good result and a very happy client. Look at how perfectly they hang, and because they are linen they will only get better with time. Enjoy... we did.

Very Nice.
