The 1369 AKA Double Happiness Yes...

My dreams are full of people, beautiful people, warm, caring interesting and fulfilled people. Once in a while one of these people makes it on to the other side, the United States of Awakening... and orders a piece of history. Such is the case with project 1369 Double Happiness, dubbed Ringu (fans of the movie will understand!) in the shop. A massive donut in an ultra luxe metallic snakeskin, what would you call it?

I think this has to be the most interesting and challenging pieces of furniture we have ever designed and fabricated. It presented so many complex challenges and really tried our skills. This is a public piece of furniture which invites interaction, not only through it's unusual shape but also through it's amazing luxe finish. Words are hard, so we'll move on to pictures....

Perfectly matched, considering the fractional size variances of this piece achieving this was a small task.

If you know what you are looking at, you know why this photo is here.

Overhead photo, dual staircases leading to a pimped out snakeskin oval... beyond ultra cool.

Walking on this carpet with bare feet is like having rose petals blown across your bare skin...

Sadly this was the last project Jamal worked on with us... he was attacked and killed by a metallic synthetic cobra looking for a mate.

Test Fit.

More pictures to follow...
