Anna, Stacey and I were extremely fortunate to have a very special visitor last week. THE Gretchen from Gretchen Bellinger came to see us and show us her new line. Wow what an honour for a humble curtaineer like me to have a textile goddess in my shop. Here is Gretchen's website....

Gretchen's fabrics are exquisite, ranging from lush mohair to liquid metal to eelskin.... yes eelskin. what do you think they do with all the skins that bbq'd eels come in... they make fabric silly!
Look at the two of us, I can't remember the last time I smiled this hard!
Incidentally we are both wearing custom made hats.... hers from a Hermes scarf, mine from a Minotti sofa. more on hats later....
Amazing.... liquid metal....
Yummy, can't wait to start using these textiles in my projects.....
