Custom Trimmings

Spectacular curtains often come down to the details. We have been making some curtains for a gorgeous new home and have been designing and fabricating in stages for over 6 months. The dining room curtains, which I will post another time, are made up in the beautiful silk from the previous post and are trimmed gently along the front edge. Oftentimes when working with trims we will use two or three or even four in sequence to create a certain look or feel. In this example we needed a tassle fringe but wanted to accentuate it with some glass or crystal beading to add a little sparkle... Trims like this simply aren't available so we selected two different trims and joined them together as one. from there they are handsewn onto the curtains.... of course.
